For the final time this year we will be working with Bridge the Gap, a children’s mental health organisation based in Derby, to offer support to the parents of our pupils. We would like to invite the parents of pupils who are having to manage the emotions relating to examination stress and examination anxiety at home to attend the workshop. Parents are invited to come to school on the 12th March at 5pm to listen to the advice from Jennifer Whyman and Nikki Webster, the founders of Bridge the Gap. They will run an hour’s workshop full of advice and support specifically tailored to parents that have to help manage the stress that examinations may have on their children.

This year, the GCSE examinations for Year 11 start on the 9th May and other year groups will start their exam periods from the end of April (exact dates TBC for each year group).

This is the fourth Parent Workshop topic that has been offered to parents this year and the second time that an exam stress workshop has been offered.

Please sign up using the online form on the link below. Please can we kindly remind you that this will be a parent only event so that parents have the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice in a more confidential setting. Thank you.
